CAPTAIN'S ROOM | WEDDING
If you are looking to host an intimate wedding for 24 then the Captain’s Room could be the space for you.
The Captain’s Room has been set up in a myriad of ways in a wide variety of layouts with different colours and different styles but ultimately always proves itself time and time again and makes for the perfect private dining room for a couple’s special day.
To begin this wedding day we set up the Captain’s Room using our very own conference chairs which were covered in white stretch covers that we can hire out to you. There are a lot of these on the market so if you prefer to go for a different colour it is very easy to source a stretch cover at a very affordable price. We then used our very own copper arch which we have sourced from Ginger Ray which you too can do should you so wish https://www.gingerray.co.uk/copper-frame-wedding-arch We can hire our one to you so that you don’t then have to think about what to do with a wedding arch the day after your wedding. There are also florists who will include an arch in their proposal and costings to you. On this occasion the arch was simply draped with a fabric that ties into the colours of the palette you have chosen (one must mention that the Ginger Ray Arch cannot take heavy weights so should you wish to go all out on a floral installation, it may be wise to speak with your florist as they will understand the requirements to make the structure stand). We chose to go for a neutral palette as it was the trend for Summer weddings in 2022. The very talented Philippa from Francis Smith Flowers then came and adorned the arch with two large arrangements that were then repositioned for the wedding breakfast. The table for the Registrars wasn’t forgotten about and bud vases were beautifully positioned that were then very easily moved onto the tables for the Wedding Breakfast.
The great thing about this particular floral design is the simplicity and the flexibility. Philippa is very familiar with Linden House and understands the operation behind your day so she is able to use that knowledge and put together a proposal that will work very well during the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and during the after party too. You will see that she used a lot of foliage which will always bring the cost down in comparison to a wedding floral design that is very heavy on flowers. She also used beautiful copper tones to highlight the colours of the room and to add that extra pop. https://www.francissmithflowers.com/ Mismatched glass vases were the perfect accompaniment to the rustic name cards that Laura from Laura Letters Life beautifully wrote out. https://www.lauraletterslife.com/ The final touch were the candles that Philippa brought and it was this detail that completed this look.
We hope you can see that when you work with Suppliers that understand the space it is really very easy for a concept to be put together and a concept that looks stunning. We hope you agree.
