We have got some great announcements to make which vary in importance and subject but are all super important to mention.
The Linden House team has now grown by one with the addition of a team member. His name is Woody and he is extremely passionate about the Club and working with the Members to set up a great vibe at Linden House. He was a finalist on The Voice in Belgium and is really keen to play for you on Club Social Evenings. He also has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cocktails and as such, we are going to have a cocktail recommended by Woody included in this Blog in the near future. How exciting! Welcome Woody! For those of us who only knew one Woody until now, that is, THE Woody at Linden House, I appreciate this situation may be a little confusing. Have no fear though that the original Woody will always be Woody No.1!
We are also, from today, able to invite you inside the building! Although we look forward to a Summer filled to the brim with sunshine and alfresco dining, we fully appreciate that we do not live on an island in the Mediterranean Sea and that weekends like the one that just passed are, unfortunately, a highly likely possibility. Even if the Member’s Bar is a backup (fingers crossed) we are still glad to be able to have an opportunity to chat with Members indoors.
At the moment Linden House is undergoing further restorative works that come in the form of a new set of toilets. We hope to be able to proudly show you the newly toilets from the end of May, if not sooner. We also hope that you like the new staircase which has been stripped of the old wood chip wallpaper and given a whole new facelift.
You may have also noticed the addition of new picnic benches which are a little larger than the previous ones and a little sturdier. We hope that this will mean more of you gather together and enjoy being outside in the sunshine even more.
We are working together with Music Entertainment providers and hope to be able to offer a program of musical events in the near future. We have put lots of thought into the program and hopefully you will enjoy seeing your Clubhouse as an entertainment venue on a Friday evening.
We are also in the final discussions regarding our new Wine Club which will be called Linden House Cru. We are really looking forward to showing you the events we are curating for those who love the world of wine.
We also have a great Instagram account which we are posting on every day and would really appreciate it if you could follow us and give us a like every now and again. We post lots of content to do with the food and beverage offering we have available at Linden House and we also post lots to do with Sailing and Rowing. It would be really great to see our profile get more and more popular as it will attract further business to Linden House and potentially further interest in the Sailing Club and the Rowing Club.
