Hello! For those of you whom I haven’t yet met, I am the new General Manager of Linden House. I am sure you will agree, I am stepping into some big shoes as Kea goes back to her homeland, but I relish the challenge and I shall look forward to meeting many more of you in due course.

So what’s happening at Linden House.

As this weekend the whole nation celebrates King Charles III Coronation, we are marking the occasion with a BBQ on the Terrace on Sunday 12 noon - 3pm. Pop down with family and friends and enjoy some food and drinks. We are also launching our new Thursday night Supper Club, starting from Thursday 25th May, and every last Thursday night of the month - a delicious 3 course meal with a complimentary glass of fizz when you book. To remind you we are still doing Yoga Wednesdays and Sofar Sounds come regularly to entertain us with an eclectic selection of up-and-coming musical artists. This month there is also a Wine & Clay on the 14th May, Wellness Yoga Day with Eniko Suko on the the 21st May, London’s Masterpieces on the 24th May and Comedy Club on the 25th May. All these events are open to Members and bookable via the website. And before Sofar Sounds on Wednesday 31st May, we are hosting a cocktail Happy Hour, 6-8pm. So plenty to keep you busy.

Later this month, with the weather getting warmer, we will be adding cider to our bar offering. Carlsberg’s Somersby cider is an easy drinking and refreshing apple cider. Look out for the special offer on the Hobgoblin too.

In the Clubhouse: The planned refurbishment of the bar and kitchen has been put on hold for the time-being and plans for the instillation of the loo in the ladies changing rooms is in progress. A gentle reminder that our licence allows us to serve alcohol at the Bar until 11pm so please be respectful to the staff when they call last orders.

We also welcome Eloise to the Linden House team, who joins us part time to look after the website and social media. Eloise is currently studying a marketing degree at Roehampton University.
