We are now officially just over the middle of the summer so we hope you have been having a glorious time with the great weather and all the summertime events.

We have been really busy at the Club House with a backlog of events that have accumulated due to a desperate need to make up for all the partying that didn’t take place during covid. We are now fully booked every Saturday until the end of Autumn and our Fridays and Sundays are filling up too. We have also noticed an increase in corporate bookings with employees slowly returning to their workspaces. We would like to thank you for your understanding of the various car parking restrictions that we have to request on the weekends and would like to let you know that all of our couples couldn’t say nicer things about Linden House. You have helped make their special day even more special by sharing your Club House with them. Thank you.

We are still implementing various changes to the Club House with the newest addition being the black and white entrance hall and lobby flooring. We hope you all agreed that it really lifts the space and sets the tone for visitors to the building. Our red front door has also been repainted as it goes through a lot during the winter. We hope you smile when you see the beautiful bright red door that is so characteristic of the Club House.  

We would also like to let you know that we are currently in the process of purchasing some planters and barriers to be able to cordon off an area that will be for members to sit in. The reason for doing this is that we would like for you to still be able to enjoy the terrace with your own area when we have events. When we have events, we have noticed that you all make your way home which shouldn’t be the case. We would love for you to stay and enjoy your Club House. We also hope that the new planters will soften the Terrace by adding some greenery.

A new addition to the Terrace will be a little Piaggio Ape Coffee Van which will be selling coffee every Saturday and Sunday. Gary will also be making some delectable morsels to accompany these coffees; very exciting!

Our beer supplier has also informed us recently that they are now stocking London Pride as they have formed a collaboration with Asahi so we shall receive our first barrel on Wednesday. We hope that you will enjoy your favourite product returning to the bar. We have also introduced little pots of nuts that have wasabi nuts, roasted almonds and cashews, to the bar in order to change the offering slightly. Be sure to ask the team at the bar about them; they’re delicious!

We still have the Linden Social going with events still taking place. This upcoming Thursday we have Quip Shed and they will be hosting a comedy evening which has now sold out. Keep looking at our page and subscribe to our newsletter on our website in order to be informed about our upcoming events. On Wednesday next week The Portable Pub Company is visiting Linden House to host a cocktail masterclass which will be a two-hour session with their Head Mixologist. It is sure to be a great evening! After that, Sofar Sounds is visiting us on the 21st July and remember there are a number of free tickets for the taking so check it out.
