Linden House has partnered up with the West London Wine School and will be hosting monthly wine evenings that are sure to delight. The first evening will be a comparison between Bordeaux and New World Wines.

Join us to review the contest that has been in full-swing for the past four decades, Bordeaux versus the New World.

At the forefront of the comparison lies the top first growths of Bordeaux against the boutique wineries of California, but the contest filters down throughout all the wines found in these two regions. In addition to comparing the Cabernet Sauvignons and Merlots of Bordeaux against the U.S we shall also look at Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. We will also look at the Sauvignon Blancs and Semillons of Bordeaux against the New World. This echoes the famous Judgement of Paris Tasting in 1976.

Does the favoured climatic conditions of the New World suit these Bordeaux grape varieties more? Is it a triumph for the traditionalist or a victory for the modernist? Book now to explore this wonderful tasting!

• Cancellations received between 2 weeks prior and up to the day of the event – you can choose to send a substitute. No refunds, credits or transfers will be provided.

• In the event of 'no-shows' - no refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided.

• On occasion due to unforeseen circumstances we may need to postpone or reschedule a course or event. If alternative date or a credit is not acceptable we will refund payment in full.
