The Modest Merchant is a young London based wine merchant importing direct to the UK from small, artisan French, Italian and Spanish wineries. With a keen eye on new and emerging winemakers and wines from lesser seen region and grapes, with a particular focus in Spain, they seek out understated wines that overdeliver on flavour, creativity and value.

The Modest Merchant will be hosting a wine evening at Linden House in the Commodore’s Room on Thursday 10th February at 19.00 entitled The New Wave of Spanish Wine: new wineries, old regions and unusual grapes. Ticket prices are £17.50 per head and will include tasters of six wines accompanied by nibbles.
