Quip Shed Comedy was established in November 2021 by Lyle Barke & Jocasta King with the mission to bring audiences the best established and emerging acts on the UK comedy circuit.

Quip Shed Comedy continues to host its monthly comedy gig at Linden House in Hammersmith on the first Thursday of every month.

For our September show, we have an incredible line-up, featuring Ross Smith, Martin Graham, Jasmin Gleeson, host Lyle Barke, and our headliner Ivo Graham!

Our opener, Ross Smith, is a regular face at some of the country's top comedy clubs. Joel Dommett described him as 'one of my favourite new acts', and Nish Kumar called his comedy 'hilarious and original'.

In 2018, he made headlines around the world when he agreed to go on holiday with complete strangers, taking the place of another man called Ross Smith. His viral adventure and the aftermath is the subject of his debut Edinburgh show, 'I Am Ross Smith'.

In 2019, one of his jokes was included in Dave's Top Ten Jokes of the Fringe.

Scottish niceman Martin Graham is a 'So You Think You’re Funny?' semi finalist, Leicester Square 'New Comedian of the Year' semi finalist, who also writes for the TV channel Dave.

Jasmin Gleeson is originally from Dublin and has quickly made moves on the London comedy circuit with her charming demeanor and playful writing style. She was a semi-finalist in the Cherry Comedy Breakout Act of the Year Competition 2020 and a finalist in the Stand-Up & Be Funny competition, as seen on The Ray D’Arcy Show RTE.

Despite extensive grooming for more serious careers at Eton and Oxford, our headliner, Ivo Graham, has spent his entire adult life on the comedy circuit, establishing himself as, if not the UK’s poshest, then certainly its most apologetically posh comedian. With a bumbling charm to snare audiences of all ages, he’s sold out six runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, the latest of which was nominated for the prestigious “Best Show” award in 2019, and appeared on TV shows including Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week and Live At The Apollo.

Ivo can be heard on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show, The News Quiz, and the drama Unite. Ivo is also a writer on BBC 5 Live’s Fighting Talk, Channel 4’s The Last Leg and Jack Whitehall: Christmas With My Father.

Ivo returned to our screens in Autumn 2021 in brand-new comedy series British As Folk (Dave/UKTV) which saw him travel across the nation with co-hosts and fellow comics Fern Brady and Darren Harriott. Ivo is also back on the road continuing his The Game Of Life tour.
