Quip Shed Comedy was established in November 2021 by Lyle Barke & Jocasta King with the mission to bring audiences the best established and emerging acts on the UK comedy circuit.
Quip Shed Comedy continues to host its monthly comedy gig at Linden House in Hammersmith on the first Thursday of every month.

Our opener, Leo Kearse, is part of the new wave of raw, bold, American-inspired comedians taking the big UK clubs by storm, including the Comedy Store, Top Secret Comedy Club and the Glee clubs. Meanwhile, Leo’s popularity abroad is rocketing, with 2019 seeing him perform in 20 countries. Among various credits, Kearse has written for BBC shows including Breaking The News, Mock The Week and The Mash Report. Leo played Mick Fleetwood in the ITV drama Breaking The Band: Fleetwood Mac. Leo is also the co-creator of sell-out show Hate 'n' Live, which has improvising comedians hating on audience suggestions - Whose Line Is It Anyway? meets Room 101.
Leo is was named the Scottish Comedian of the Year 2017/2018 and Pun Champion 2015.
Erika Elher's razor-sharp, dark and visceral writing paired with precise delivery makes her one of the most exciting young comedians on the circuit. She has quickly become a much in demand writer and comedian working on numerous high profile shows.
In 2019, she was crowned winner of the Chortle Student Comedy Award, was the recipient of the Mike Craig Comedy Award, and the Hot Water Roast Battle Champion. Erika has also written for Late Night Mash (Dave), Never Mind The Buzzcock (Sky), Have I Got News For You (BBC1) and Death to 2020 (Netflix).
Philipp Kostelecky started performing comedy in London in 2018. Since then, he has gone on to perform across the globe playing venues such as Stand-up NY, The Comedy Store, Up the Creek, Camden Comedy Club, Backyard Comedy Club, Angel Comedy, and Top Secret Comedy Club. He has also headlined shows in Paris, Berlin, and the prestigious comedy club Zelig in Milan.
His child-like energy, confident stage presence, and quick-fire performance style have propelled him up the UK comedy ladder, reaching the finals of the Roast Battle UK championship and winning the brutal Comedy Store King Gong Show.
