Quip Shed Comedy is delighted to host its first ever season of Edinburgh preview shows at Linden House in Hammersmith!
On the 27th July, we have the incredible Darren Harriott and Dan Tiernan performing previews of the shows they are taking to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer!
Yooo! Darren Harriott's brand-new show is all about how his life has changed for the better (yay!). He used to be a 'Roadman' who wouldn’t even smile for a photo, but now he’s trying all sorts of things he thinks he missed out on; some good, some bad but at least he’s smiling… just about. Double Edinburgh Award nominee, host of Live at the Apollo, team captain on Guessable, series regular on Love Island After Sun and co-host of The Shame Is Delicious podcast. 'This very funny stand-up makes joke-telling look simple' **** (Times).
Dan Tiernan is 27, gay and riddled with dyspraxia. Dan's had a big year, quitting his job as a dinner lady, going full-time in comedy and finally leaving home, yet somehow he still feels he's completely going under. The reigning BBC New Comedy Awards winner and British Comedian of the Year presents his gag-heavy, high-energy debut hour. Tour support for Micky Flanagan and Jamali Maddix. As seen on BBC, Channel 4, Comedy Central, Dave and ITV2. 'Raucously entertaining' (Guardian). 'A force-of-nature who sweeps the room up in his exhilarating performance into a frenzy of laughter' (Chortle.co.uk).
We cannot wait to see you there!
